        Yes, most nationalities can get a Tourist Visa on Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu) and at selected land border entry points.
        You’ll need a valid passport, a passport-sized photo, and visa fees (payable in cash or card).

        No, as of April 1, 2023, solo trekking without a licensed guide is not allowed in most trekking regions of Nepal, including popular routes like Annapurna and Everest.

        The Nepal Tourism Board now requires all foreign trekkers to hire a licensed guide and obtain a Trekker’s Information Management System (TIMS) card through a registered trekking agency.

        This rule is for your safety, especially in remote and high-altitude areas.

        The best time to visit Nepal is during autumn (September–November) for clear skies, ideal trekking conditions, and vibrant festivals.
